A note on my "reviews"

It's a bit misleading to say review. The reason I write about books I read or listen to is that I want to think about the content or message of the book for longer, so most of my reviews are putting my thoughts into words to better articulate them for myself. Do not expect there to be recommendations, scores, or any kind of ranking or objective quality analysis on the reviews posted here, as that is not the intention. I merely want to express what the book made me think and feel during or after reading it, in hopes to provide a different perspective on the book than someone else.

Maybe these writings will make you want to read the book, maybe they won't. Maybe you'll think I entirely missed the point of the book, or maybe you will be offended by my commentary on the subject of the book. Do what you will with the knowledge you gain here, this is just for fun.
